    I have been visiting Colombo6 and finding that new blocks of flats have been coming up so close to the existing ones that they cut out daylight into the latter – naturally fresh air is also cut down at the same time – with the result that the residents have to use electric light 24 hrs a day. This atrocious planning of residential buildings has been reported to Colombo Municipality with stony sillence as the result.
