The President has repeatedly stated that he will not let any ‘war hero’ to be charged for any crime he has committed during the war against the LTTE. That statement added insult to injury on the victims of the war, waiting for justice. Many of whom are waiting to find out what happened to those who surrendered to the military during the war in the presence of witnesses, and the others who had been arrested and have disappeared

Now the reason why building temples/statues as symbols of any religion in Sri Lanka should be stopped is scarcity of basic natural resources:
