I love the lines “..communion tablet ready for consecration…His murmuring voice fades as the wind begins to howl.” Sounds eeri and still. Gives a sense of a heavily pregnant night with inexplicable grave moments of fear and questions unanswered. Makes me now realise that ghosts too want to be heard.
