We personally contacted most of the women featured – some sent in stories after we put out a request on Twitter as well.

If so, what can be provided as proof? Girls would not take the initiative to complain for number of reasons

1. The thought that we will have to go to courts/ police station, get questioned on what happened

2. Provide evidence (Obviously we won’t have! except a big amount of shame on our shoulders)

3. The horrifying thought that the identity will be revealed and the revenge will be fulfilled later on by another set of men/ or the same man.

Answer these questions or set proper measures to the above and then you will have women being transparent about their issues. You can’t have the girls step up unless you have set the layer of security built.

Even right now I had to use a different mail address just to shield myself.
