Actually, most of us don’t want MR back, if we did he would have won the elections!

You refused to answer here but today (3/3/2015) you have stated this ..
“What this means is the full implementation, apart from Police powers, of the 13th amendment”

So what you stand for is NOT the 13th amendment and so the author is correct. You stand for something less than the 13th. So stop bluffing !

I won’t bother waiting for Dayan’s reply. He is like Michael Roberts (another article on GV) who go silent when questioned. Questions that could clarify (or expose) them !
I think the country now knows where Dayan stands on the 13th, he is with Wimal W. Do I need to say more?

Oh and on police/land powers, Dayan always opposed them so in essence never supported the 13th, it just convenient to claim so.

What exactly is your current position vis-a-vis the 13th amendment? The author and another commentator have questioned your position which you have failed to clarify. Are you for the full implementation to the letter and spirit of the 13th amendment or are you only supportive of it with certain caveats? If the latter then you need to qualify your defense of the 13th amendment as “conditional” support. There are others who support it fully and you will be doing them an injustice if you claim you are one of them.

remember his reply to CNN journalist about the Menik Farm camps?
Bring back the man who built war memorials and Buddha statues inside the Vanni while detaining the residents in army-guarded camps and A9 closed to the public?
Bring back the man who destroyed the country economically and environmentally?

Stating facts is different from stating one’s position.

Because He is the only President who Understood and Understand the real problems As It Is.. his vision is perfect, its a very rare gift for a human , and a very rare opportunity for a country to have such a visionary strong leader, who knows exactly what to DO and What Not TO DO and no hanky panky.

Let us Tamils not fool ourselves. You are free to support the LTTE if you wish but as a Tamil I am glad they are gone. They brought nothing but misery to us LIVING in Jaffna. Let us first be brave enough to admit faults on our side before expecting the government/majority to accept theirs.
