Remember one thing there is a limit to anyone’s tolerance. I don’t know anyone like you have the guts to see and accept the reality. What happens if Sinhalese does anything like that, people like you will be screaming for the Muslims. Who is there for the Sinhalese? Muslims have political parties and religion to support them. Tamils have the same. What about the Sinhalese? No because people like you start screaming for racism. But it is we Sinhalese have to scream racism as we don’t have anyone. Have you talked about assaulting the Buddhist monk at Aluthgama? No you will not as there is nothing for anyone even publicity. it is sad but is the truth. Sinhalese have no support from the politicians they voted into power as they don’t have the means to spend for these politicians like Muslims, for example Gampola Furukhan gave hundred thousand rice packets in Gampola town for Kudu Dimu’s son’s election campaign. These are facts. Go to Akurana and see if there is a single Sinhala letter in any of the shops and ask what happens if a non-Muslim accidentally hits a Muslim while driving along that road. What happens if a Sinhalese does it, people like you will be screaming. [Edited out] You were born in this country because our Sinhalese ancestors fought and saved a country for us to call a country. Do you know what happen to Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran, Afghanistan and more importantly to how Muslims killed over 10000 Buddhist monks inside the Nalanda University in India to destroy Buddhism? The biggest threat Muslims have is Buddhism and don’t be part of that.

It is obvious by their actions that these are simply street thugs who have just exchanged their sarongs and lunkets for yellow robes and a cushy life style. The rest of the world is fast discovering the fake Buddhism practiced in Sri Lanka.

EPDP is the mouthpiece in the North

Salma Yusuf is the mouthpiece on international fora: http://www.eurasiareview.com/15072014-sri-lanka-reconciliation-process-goal-presentation/#comment-761947 & http://thediplomat.com/2013/10/chogm-2013-challenge-or-opportunity-for-sri-lanka/#comment-227071

Does the General Secretary deserve such valueable space and prominence, given his well publicised notriety?
The same national newspaper has given a great deal of prominence to many political unworthies in its middle pages and one such received a lot of exposure recently, concerning his intention to enter politics and contest the Matara seat. To interview such people in the middle pages of a ‘leading national newspaper’ says very little about journalistic standards set and practised or ethics followed by such ‘leading’ dailies.
In this crucial hour where the very fabric of society is being threatened, everyone enjoying a position of influence must strive to set an example to society. The newspapers and newsmedia are powerful tools which can do much good by influencing people the right way. Given what we now see, it appears the newspapers are actively promoting the undesirables while ignoring those who matter towards creating and sustaining a decent, progressive society..
Why dont the newspapers simply ignore the unworthy, and concentrate on men and women who are shining examples to society, and voice their thoughts and beliefs in most matters of national importance instead? Why do educationsts, scientists, economists, social reformers and thinkers, receive such poor coverage by comparison? Would not a strong message be sent, if newspapers ignored the notorious characters or gave them the least possible publicity, and concentrated more on people who really mattered in a decent society?
Or, is it that someone outside the fraternity now decides who gets what prominence, where, and the newspapers are quite helpless, even if they are privately owned?

The minorities may choose to delay investment until they see a new government takes power.
