Nalaka combines great feeling with great restraint. One great loss in the years of war and violence was the beauty of human communication. Collectively we lost the power of communication so that we have now increased the distance between us and must therefore shout and abuse each other to make points. But writing like this shows that we will always retain a sense of beauty – and that it will never really die.
