Please keep writing.
Organized and institutionalized Buddhism in Sri Lanka and probably most other Asian countries is indistinguishable from a kind of agrarian paternalism which is deep rooted. However these roots have been shaken by the forces of globalization which have also carried some Buddhist traditions (including Theravada) to the west. Colonial secularism (and its post colonial variants based on human rights) have been quite ineffective in reforming or re-constructing the relationship between the sasana and state in Sri Lanka. We must therefore focus on a model of secularism that is embedded within the history and praxis of religiousness here.

Congratulations on the versatility of an un-skewed presentation. I believe is also the kind of effect Buddhist philosophy also might bring out in the persona, if we are just patient enough to understand and listen to its core messages. I wish you all the very best!
