If the country goes forward as this presentation evidence us , It would be a reason for great pleasure for all Sri Lankan . Because it is the way to rise from the ash after 3 decades of blood flow. However , after watching this video clip very next day That I had to walk into Sri Lankan embassy in London to sort out a small matter . Honestly I walked into the embassy with a pride of thinking what a country Sri Lanka going to be in the world state and how blissful matter it could be to be a Sri Lankan in The future . Unfortunate of us it did not take a minute walked into the embassy For me to feel what a shameful country that I come from .and my first thought was entirely shattered after thinking how delighted I was watching that Video clip . There weren't any thing to professional level , people were jumping from the regular queues saying' Hello Machan ' and I saw many times people break the regular law of waiting on queues to a friendships . I saw one office while he was serving to a person suddenly walked out and was speaking very loudly to some of his friends in side the room . Honestly I was experienced and encountered a pathetic drama being few minutes to the most important place of my mother land is authentically represent .it was a disgrace . I felt like it was how we run the KACHCHERIYA in Sri Lanka . I heard one of video clip that president Rajapaksa said once when he was opposition that he went to Ireland and few other countries to study how they work with grave ethnic problem. And I would mind to appeal from him , if he has any idea of winning back the lost dignity of country and full fill the dream of getting 2.5 million tourists by 2016 that you must firstly take steps to resume with better quality and professional services and staff for every Sri Lankan embassies in the world .as it the only way to save us from this sheer embarrassment front of foreign visitors . Unless , will be doing primitive ritual affairs and big talks would not bring any goods to our country or economy in long run . We must understand whom are we dealing with and what is our goal. Until then the money and time we spend to bring back what we lost for decades would be utterly waste .

Most of the dropouts are from poor families who find it difficult to make ends meet as humanitarian assistance dries up almost five years after decades of civil war ended. This situation is being aggravated by an acute lack of job opportunities and a rising cost of living. “It’s a vicious cycle,” said Sivalingam Sathyaseelan, Secretary to the provincial Ministry of Education.

“The main reason is the lack of jobs. There is no money in these families, and they need everybody that can work, to work,” Sathyaseelan told IRIN. “They are able-bodied and can find odd jobs or agricultural work more easily,” so there is growing pressure on children in their early teens, mostly at secondary school level, to leave the classroom.

Thanks for the excellent breakdown of this ludicrous propaganda piece. Maybe the Rajapakse brothers should consider following this up with an appearance on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show!

I also read Tisaranee’s piece yesterday and it is indeed funny that these 2 clowns think that they have the charisma or the communication skills to convince!
