A more powerful message maybe sent by him resigning from his GOVERNMENT MP position? He should after all he is not only appalled by this incident but also the Weliweriya slaughter. He is a national list/un elected MP, so there is no question of him betraying the people who voted for him !

By continuing to be an MP and enjoying the fruits it brings but “criticizing” (pretend to) the government reminds me of

“run with the hare and hunt with the hounds”

The overall impact of the statement is also reduced as a result of including the likes of him.
