Welcome to modern Sri Lanka under this regime. They will take any land they want anywhere. I have been there, seen the whole Navy HQ and the fancy holiday retreat and location of the base, one of Sri Lanka’s prized beauty spots. I offered US$500M for the site if I can get 5000 acres there, including all the land the Navy has for a six star resort. That was not enough!

So you can understand what a valuable space the Navy are occupying free. They (forces, govt. rulers) are in the processes of taking all the prized spots for their use and no one can stop it. It may be sinhala, tamil, or muslim it does not matter. One day a ruler of Sri Lanka will sell it for US$1B and no one will know.

That is just the way it is. Don’t be surprised if the good Cardinal in the interests of keeping the peace and self preservation, allows the Church and School to go to the Navy with the promise of a new Church and School in a less salubrious place.

TRUST ME IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THAT HAPPENS AND DON’T TELL ME YOU HAVE NOT BEEN WARNED!

The cardinal is a very busy man these days defending and working for the regime instead of tending to his flock !
However, as a Christian I do am very conscious of the fact that in spite the grand vestments he may wear, he is human after all.

During Colonialism, Britain did suppress information of people to prevent justice through the knowledge of truth.

The British gave the Ceylonese travel documents. SL does now the same to the Tamils of Tamil Eelam.

Military occupation is another.

Britain allowed elected representatives to a colonial legislature in Ceylon. The same is done by SL to the people of TE.

There are many parallels to what the British colonials did.

Sri Lanka…according to ancient Hindu texts….the demon’s haunt and the Rajapaksa family fit the bill perfectly…..a corrupt despicable power hungry bunch of imbeciles……and the monks….ha!!!!but who suffers…the ordinary people fooled by that lying cheating government but there is JUDGMENT DAY…!!!
