A person in clerical job in Sri Lanka at the end of the month cannot by a McDonald’s burger. Sri Lanka is only now beginning to feel the brunt of the financial crisis, its impact on top of our already mismanaged macroeconomic conditions will hurt us even more.- Sri Lanka for example, refused to depreciate the currency even when other countries in South Asia, such as India, did so. For the week ending October 16, 2012, Canadian average retail gasoline prices decreased by nearly 3 cents per litre from the previous week to $1.30 per litre—this offset the 3 cents per litre rise of two weeks ago.
Dec 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s state owned petroleum supplier Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has increased the price of a liter of 90-Octane petrol by Rs. 10. Prices have dropped across Ontario and are as low as $1.03 in some places. The provincial average is $1.20. The CPC price increase went into effect from midnight Friday and the new price of a 90-octane liter is Rs. 159. The new price of a kilo of chicken is Rs. 425 in Sri Lanka. The poultry producers were demanding the Consumer Affairs Authority to increase the price of chicken due to the increase in prices of feed and other needs in the industry.
Canada wholesale prices decreased by 10.6% (for farm products). Sri Lanka government also increased the price of cement. The retail price of a 50 kilo bag of cement has been increased by Rs. 68 – 85, Consumer Affairs Authority announced. The retail price of a 50 kilo bag of cement will be around Rs. 925 with this increase. Most of the clerical job people in Canada are multi millionaire after few years in this position. In Sri Lanka some of the clerical jobs people are beggars in kochikade after few years. So dear friends try to migrate quick as possible, because even Canada as planned to stop migration in few year, so until that here is our chance.
