A willingness to be be equal under the laws of the land applied equally to all its citizens.
There can be no trust if one segment asserts its superiority or special status at the expense of the other. Such actions would give rise to mistrust and suspicion.
Hence it is the duty of leaders, clergy, parents and other responsible people of society to support and practice the concept of human eqaulity in their families, schools, work places and society in general. Just as there is a National policy on Language there should be a clearly enunciated National Policy on Equal Rights for all its citizens. This is mentioned in the constitution in a round about manner but there are other clauses and laws in place which may cause this to be ignored.
