Its rather like someone playing music very loudly in a park, they may be enjoying the boom, boom, boom or the facile rap lyrics but one person’s enjoyment is ruining the peace and quiet for the rest.

Off course, some day if the GOR (Government Of Rajapaksas) decides to increase the price of ‘punnak’ by 300% and the price of grass by 100%…that will be the day that the UPFA disintegrates and disappears from the political stage!

There is also a problem with education. Most Sri Lankans are mass educated quantity as opposed to quality.

This fundamental/universal truth is totally ignored and the ‘thinkers’ who are pro Rajapakse Regime write their theories. Why this ‘blinkered’ tunnel vision? Is it that the average educated citizen can be brainwashed by such constant barrage of criticism?
They are making a big mistake. The average citizen can think for himself and knows the reality of the past flawed election and the political machinations to remain in power at any cost.
The day the Supreme Court approved cross overs was the day of decline of all democratic norms in politics.

The popularity of the Government is slowly declining. The rising cost of living and the mervyn Silva incident are two reasons for this.

But it seems like that is coming to an end, with allegiance waining everyday. With current party in power gaining a few notches for ending the terrorism, we may have sounded as turned about. It is not so. But it is even harder to to ride dead horse called UNP.
I feel like the writer does, UNP wake up!, for the love of Magerata.
