What happens in news is that we write on a current topic and move on until the next story breaks. Following up is an essential part of journalism.

When we want to look at issues it is easier to look at your compilation and put things in perspective.

I too have a habit of looking back on my earlier stories and comparing them with the current scenario.

To the Indian doctor,

It is sad on the plight of civilians in the war zone held by the LTTE as a human shield.

But, be happy that there are no civilians dying or being injured for more than a year from bombs.
