Fonseka was in the army long before Rajapaksa came to power…why couldn’t he have eliminated terrorism and fascism during that time?

The leader who delivered victory here is Mahinda. This may be bitter for some people, but it’s the truth. Fonseka was only one cog in a machine., a machine that was run by Mahinda. We also have a navy and an airforce that delivered when it came to the war….so how come the navy and air force chiefs aren’t claiming sole credit for the victory? Do people cheer for Churchill or the British army commander (what was his name again?)…

Give FIRST and SECOND to honest, consistent candidates. If Fonseka wins a close race he will realise that he owes it to a guy like you who values what the record and the character of those candidates stand for: decency
