(I saw an article in a newspaper a couple of weeks ago on this as well). I think when there are so many issues at stake, this should be something that the general public are educated on so that an informed decision can be made with a range of voices being heard rather than a few decision-makers deciding on it without any public engagement.

Actually solar is the future. Nuclear is very expensive. There are also environmental considerations. Let’s not forget Chernobyl.

It simply anti nuclear energy… The fact that nuclear energy is cost effective have to be taken into consideration by comparison,, also when we talk about environment, cost, climate friendly if we have gone to open case study nuclear energy will be well ahead of others in comparison. Well we have to be open minded “If we have to rise to the future we should have future energy” That is nuclear energy.

so if SL authority has any idea to go for nuclear technology for power generation, they should realize that they are already late! n should expedite program.
Renewable energy…… yes gud topic to conduct spectacular presentations! yet not for commercial large scale power generation.
surely this new clear power program would also have to face usual enemies met in commence of coal power projects. but this program should drive forward. coz nuclear power is the future energy.
