Mass Genocide Rape, Murder and Torture of Tamils are slowly starting to emerge from this so-called well-intended Sri Lankan “Refugee Welfare Villages.” The world has seen the same during the Balkan war before – sadly only after the fact. Sri Lanka denies media access to reporting, and has expelled all international aid agencies including Red Cross from the region. When you're not let in, it's a sign that there's something they want to hide. It is useful to revisit the past with the aim of finding insights for the present. I travelled to Sri Lanka several occasions and I also know the definition of Genocide. The action against Tamils by the repressive and regressive regime of Sri Lanka fits the bill.

Sri Lanka was kicked out of the UN Human Rights Commission because of its violation of human rights, including state sponsored brutal killing and torture of media journalists.

It is now time the UN send its troops to Sri Lanka to end this carnage.

Sri Lankan government and its armed forces brutal, violent, and relentless military operations in the Vanni area forcing over 300,000 Tamil civilians to flee their normal homes. These people are displaced many times in the past few months living in subhuman, degraded and pathetic conditions in many makeshift camps, under the trees, schools, open air and uninhabitable area in the land of the suffering. These people have no access or very limited access to food, medicine, and other basic essentials. Drinking water is scarce, and sanitation is virtually non existent. The places where they eat and sleep are uninhabitable for any human being.

Hundreds of people are already suffering from bowel diseases like diarrhoea and looming seasonal rain in Vanni area will only will make worst situation for these unfortunate people in coming days. Biggest and bloody human catastrophe situation are fast developing in the Vanni area. These people’s plight worsened by the State’s expulsion of U.N aid agencies and INGOs from Vanni last month.
