for me killinochi is a lot to celebrate. tamil elam dream ealier had jafna as capital, then it moved to trinco as jaffna couldnt be captured, then it moved to killinochchi, then now only mullativu is available…

how can you say jaffna tamils are puppets, dougi and ananda is now becoming their leaders – that is democratic leader unlike TNA puppets…

so there was a lot to celebrate , come to wellawatta to see how normal day to day tamil life would be without ur LTTE friends…

or are u already there, enjoying the royal bakery food and denying the other lower cast bretheren lol…

the people were driven away like cows by the LTTE minders. so many people who cross to SLA side say how joyous they are to come back. also jaffna people celebrated the victory in Ponneryn. so they were liberated like you say.

ps, going on your own logic, see how the allied liberated Germany and now germany is propering. so we will svae the civilians from LTTE and sri lanka will also prosper.

Democracy is about people. Liberation is also about people. It is not about military.

When the allied forces liberated countries occupied by Adolf Hitler, the masses, the inhabitants in thearea, came out and danced with joy. They kissed the soldiers and gave flowers. That was liberation and the spirit of it. But that was not seen in Kilinochchi. Not even in any part of Tamil Eelam. In fact the people ran away fearing state terror and genocide.

Celeberation was only in the South like the victory for an occupying military. They were asked to be mindful only for two minutes about the dead soldiers!

Is this victory? This is surely disgrace.
