One person sustained injuries in a blast at Colombo Fort railway station on 11 January, military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakakra told BBC Sandeshaya.

Earlier, a monior blast occured in front of state-owned Lake House, in the heart of the capital.

“I personally believe that the LTTE was not responsible for them. They wouldn’t risk the arrest of two cadres with just sand bombs,” he said.

“Minister Fernandopulle did not mention the Supreme Court by name but referred to the ‘Aluthkade’ law and the rulings given on the security checkpoints, the arrests and search operations of houses in the night as the reason for the wave of killing.”

There are too many coincidences taking place these days, think you not? Like the no limit bomb going off just before certain politicos proved their point to have a defence budget passed… and a minister losing his life just before he was due to expose the baddies…
