The sadness is that activism can yield results only in the minds of people who are unwilling to listen and be remorseful. Sunila Abeysekara could not achieve much because, as usual, there was no willingness for consumption and digestion from the Sinhalese. They have selective morality.

Leadership for Consumption and action should have come from the political leaders. Unfortunately it never came about. The political naivity of the leaders caused it.

It is time somebody called the political leaders of southern Sri Lanka to order. If we cannot do it, we must ask the UN to help us out.
