		<description>What is wrong with Singapore model? The country became an advanced economy within 30 years and offers a high standard of living to its people today. The Singaporean media hve played a role in creating this prosperity. They did not pick fault with their government and instead supported it. Why cant Sri Lanka media do the same? When J R Jayawardhana wanted to turn Sri Lanka into a Singapore, no one objected. Why is everything suddenly seen as sinister when Mahinda Rajapaksa, a true son of the soil from the South, tries to do the same thing?</description>
