I do not agree that we can compare JVP With LTTE or Wimal with Karuna. Neither do I agree that Ranil was the man responsible of splitting the LTTE nor Rajapakse is involved in the JVP split.

Ranil has never been able to engage in such progressive conspiracies. The only dream he has is to topple the SLFP and coming to power.

How can you compare the worst terrorist outfit LTTE with JVP? Nonsense!

Why does Rajapakse need to split the JVP and lose all important votes in crucial moments in the parliament. He should be ever thankful to JVP for keeping his party in power.

All these are UNP nonsense trying to to give a philosophic viewpoint to the current state of affairs of the political scene in Sri lanka and to curry favour to LTTE.

It is very rarely we find the human being strong enough to stand erect facing all the threats, and, though his service to the party and the country is immeasurable, Mr. WW was also no other than one of the natural creatures,who could not keep aside his carnal desires stimulated with the world’s eye that fell on him, but there was something that he should have decided before leaveing out his home. He became Weerawansa by scolding all the ways somebody comparing his party but, now who can he scold and comapre to it? And he can never be Weerawansa if not he remains in the party itself. It is cristal clear that he will be ruined by being himself a nonentity in the near future.

What’s all this (true or not) got to do with the Weerawans-split? Are you arguing that part of the JVP is trying to find conciseness and return to these ‘humanist’ principles of marxism you talk of and Weerawansa was preventing that? er..ok..

and Weerawansa as a racist? you not liking him doesn’t qualify him to be ‘a born racist’.

it’s amazing how some supposed humanists become close to the very things they criticize when it comes to things (or people) they don’t like.

The Southern press is oppressed by the leaders to the extent they never speak the truth about racists like weeravansa.He clamoured for war and wanton annihilation but the southren voters never understood what is good war or peace.So they kept quiet while people like Weeravansa and Rajapakse brothers ruined the country.
Peace,dialogue ,devolution and human rights are the anwer.Only the Sinhala-Buddhist chauvinists are against this. The soone the Southerners realize this better it is for the country.
