Taken in context, the person was just saying that they were scared of harm being inflicted on them because of incidents elsewhere in the country. The person wasn't asking people to take up cudgels and sticks, but was expressing what they felt given what they lived through in the past. You call that racist? I like these posts of CHA - they are kinda more real than some of the other posts with big words here. Mate, what’s racist about ““If any things happen to a Muslim in any part of the Island by any sector, immediately we will be taken revenge”?!

Taken in context, the person was just saying that they were scared of harm being inflicted on them because of incidents elsewhere in the country. The person wasn’t asking people to take up cudgels and sticks, but was expressing what they felt given what they lived through in the past.

You call that racist?

I like these posts of CHA – they are kinda more real than some of the other posts with big words here.

Well Sittingnut if you feel thats what the post means what do you want these people to do? take photos from their camera phones with the display time and date setting on, and then blog the photos, while taking background shots to ensure the scene of the crimes can be verified for time and place? Maybe they could also collect some forensic evidence in little plastic bags? My comments to the person posting is that while I know its hard I would rather you posted anonymously and clearly mention who you suspect in these shootings and shelling incidents, since its really not clear to me and I don't want to speculate. Plus parties involved in Sri Lanka are not just two, but many such as paramilitaries, LTTE, Karuna, and armed sinhala groups, deserters and armed forces depending on the situation isn't it? Clearly, the story above flag the significant challenges that lie ahead in the resettlement of IDPs and refugees in these so-called liberated areas, with "unknown armed groups" that mysteriously appear, kill and disappear into thin air.
