It is comfortabe to feel that we live and work in a democracy. However, it does us no good in the long run to be treated as second class human beings in a nation that we are born to, irrespective of how our forefathers originally landed on Lankan soil. We can dream on about this Utopia of democracy till Thy Kingdom Come! Where will it take us in the end? Democracy without human rights is no democracy…

It is comfortabe to feel that we live and work in a democracy. However, it does us no good in the long run to be treated as second class human beings in a nation that we are born to, irrespective of how our forefathers originally landed on Lankan soil.

We can dream on about this Utopia of democracy till Thy Kingdom Come!
